My problem was obviously different. My 19" monitor is set to 1024 x 697 (mac set to 1024 x 768.) My preferences were obviously mucked up ... so that's why my solution only worked for me.

got rid of the clock bar but still strecthes out limewire, still can c it, now goes off the entire screen !

LW Screen Size

Dear rcanham

Installing LW Pro 4.4.4 sorted out the size problem for me, LW now sizes itself correctly on my screen and now, for the first time ever, I can see the LW media player control buttons.
