The program doesnt even start up

When I click on the desktop shortcut, nothing happens. when i do it through windows explorer, i get "open with" and all the
stuff like word and whatnot. I'm connected to my network, so thats not the problem. does anyone know whats wrong?

I went to the FAQ's under Installation 2.2 and changed the target. It said that was not valid. I copied and pasted so I know I didn't type it wrong. What next? Please help.

If the target:
C:\WINDOWS\javaw.exe -cp . RunLime
didn't work, then Java 2 JRE never installed. Go to question 1.3.

use the second path listed for the target...and re-type the quote marks - for some reason they don't show up right when you paste it in -


"C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\bin\javaw.exe" -cp . RunLime

formatting, or whatever. I just had the same problem, got the answer from the faq, pasted, and fixed it this way.

Of course, that's assuming the JRE actually was installed :-)
