I have a friend who uses Kazaa. I have a bunch of music in my share folder that he would like. Can he access those files using Kazaa just as we do with LIMEWIRE?

I don't think so, because Kazaa is not part of the G network.

Your friend could download the free basic version of LimeWire from here. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Then your friend could do a direct connect to you, and get the files that way.

When you say a direct connect ... is that different from him just searching?

Yes

In LW when you are in the the search tab window. On the left where you would normally type in what you are searching at the bottom there there is a direct connect tab. Click on that it should show your IP address for your friend to type into his. The rest should be self explanitory.

Hmmm eveytime I say that I get myself into trouble.
