 Solution to my problem. I found a great solution to my problem. A piece of software called MP3 Collector Pro from Collectorz.com , It does all I wanted and a lot more too. I found another package with the same or similar name (freeware), but that crashed my system before I could even try it. It's so unusual to find a useful program that does all you want from the moment of first install - so for the moment at least, I'm really contented.
