Ok Master problem at start here, Freeze and/or Slow ... help!
 

Hi everyone,

My brother just tell me to install this program because it's really good...
I have Bad news...

I got a problem with my Limewire... When I start it... The program is really really slow and almost not responding... I cannot do anything with it because it's too slow.
I don't really know why is that but it suck...

I tried to reinstall the program and it doesn't work.

Anyone has any idea or had the same problem? Feel free to reply...

My pc :
Using : Microsoft XP PRO 5.1
Athlon XP 3000+
ASUS A9600XT 128MB
1024 RAM
DirectX : 9.0c

Is your whole system slow after starting LW or just LW its self? If your PC is Slow i suggets you read Windows Slowing Down Post

No, My Computer is running perfectly only this program is'nt responding...

Also, If i start Limewire, the program will start and it will almost not responding and there will be a black screen all around the main window of Limewire... If I move any other window in this black screen it will remove the black color which will let me see my desktop... Weird bug...

Finally I found the problem ,

I tried a lot of things to finally arrive at this point.

This program looks like having some graphic problems so I tried this and it works pretty well.

When you right click on the Shortcut of Limewire in Windows XP There is tab "compatibility".

When you unselect the Advanced Services of text at the bottom and press okay. It's suppose to work.

"I can't say the exact sentence in english because my version is in french"

When I start it now it works!
So it might help some people later on...

Alors pour m'expliquer un peu mieux ben j'ai finalement trouvé la solution moi-même haha! :)

Mais je crois qu'il y a vraiment beaucoup de gens qui ont le même problème que moi et j'ai finalement trouvé la solution alors c'est important d'en retenir la leçon! :P
