Playlist problem

I am using limwire player and Limewire4.8.1.

I have my mp3s in different folders based on genre ,year etc.

The problem i am encountering is that i am unable to add specific files within a folder to the playlist but only the contents of the folder itself
With previous version i was able to add a selection of tracks from different folders to make a playlist.

Could sks please help. Thank you.

Sounds strange! I haven't seen that issue with LW 4.8.1 They should be able to be added individually no matter what folder.

Hmmm They should be able to unless they don't have admin. previliges or have limited access to the files.

Does sound odd though

Please explain what you mean by that.

Please read the other comments. It means there might be an issue you're missing. Permissions to access certain files, etc. or RU sure they're audio files you're trying to add to the list.

Hey got a great idea. Why not get a backup player like iTunes. It'll organise all your music into folders like artist>album so it's easy to find & access & play. You'd just share the iTunes Music library then for this effect. See hints here: Albumwrap/iTunes Within iTunes you can create your own playlists or import them from LW's media player. If you disable LW's media player then iTunes will play them instead.
