Limewire slows Internet?!
 

Hi everyone,
We are four people that use limewire on a 8 person network. The problem is that whenever someone opens up limewire, our Internet connection gets extremely slow. Our ping goes from under 40ms when no one is using limewire to over 2500ms when someone opens it. We can barely even open webpage when someone is on limewire. Does anyone know why our Internet gets so slow when someone opens limewire. We desperatly need to find a fix for this as soon as possible.

In LW tools>options>speed --- disable ultrapeer capabilities --- check this box --- click apply then okay

In LW tools>options>uploads>basic --- upload bandwith --- move the slider back some -- click apply then okay
