Cant kill limewire.

I have it quit. But LimeWire.exe remains in the task manager. It wont die. I end task many times and it remains. While its up, I cant delete files I downloaded with it. Always get file in use errors. Anyone else run into this? I would hate to have to go back to Kazaa over this.

Yes I do know its the LimeWire.exe causing this as I started up in safe mode and on another machine deleted LimeWire and was able to delete the files.

Thanks to anyone who replies.

I reinstalled LimeWire and it quits properly. However still cant transfer files over the network that were downloaded with LimeWire. Since I dont have this problem with other programs, limewire is running something or did something to the file to cause these errors.

Anyone else have this problem?

Peace

Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Sharing & press the default button & press Apply. This should allow your shared folder to be shared (that's if it's LW version 4.2 or later.) Any other folders wish to share you can add them.
