3.8.10 WONT uninstall
 

Well, when i try to uninstall LimeWire 3.8.10, i get an error that says,

Error 1316.A network error has occured while attempting to read from the file C:\WINNT\Installer\LimeWire.msi

I have tried upgrading to the newest version and it installs fine, but when i open it it says it is the old version and i need to update....

ANY help is greatly appreciated

If you had the english installer for LW 3 then you'd use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to remove it. If you had the international installer for LW 3 then you'd find an uninstaller within the LW 3 program folder.

Before uninstalling, make sure there's no LW activities happening. Hold down the Control, Alt & Delete keys & open Process Manager & look for limewire. If there's any, kill those processes.
