Angry Java

I have a REAL problem, I re-installed windows XP Home edition, a clean install, And I have re-loaded Limewire back onto my puter. Ever since I done this, Limewire will not load up correctly. It blanks my screen black with lime wire in the forefront with a blank dialog box that says limewire.I KNOW it is directly related to JAVA, I have re-installed JAVA and limewire Multiple times and cant seem to get it to work. PLease help me some one. I will send anyone a snapshot of this problem if it will help me any.

Just a thought

Might try changing your display setting from 32 bit color to 16 bit color. Another member did and it fixed the LW problem.

Not sure if it will help or not

Following applies If your version of Windows Home edition is not recent
When you re-installed Windows, did you also then immediately update to SP2 ?

I certainly aren't sure that this will cure your problem, but LW has apparently worked very hard developing the program to work well with SP2.

Good luck

I fixed my problem by changing my ATI D3D settings back to default. When they were at MAX I had problems probably with the AA or AF.
