Text position change

The text in my LimeWire Pro 4.8.1 has changed position.
Rather than explain I included an image.

oh

While it doesn't affect how it runs, it's just annoying and looks weird. Also, the java buttons are vertically larger than before.

2 options I can think of:

1. Increase your monitor size temporarily & drag the bottom right corner up & across & then drag the entire interface to the right.

2. Close LW & try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

ok

I'm on 1280x1024 resolution, what should I change it to?
I don't get it.

SubJunk April 17th, 2005 05:47 PM

hmm

I deleted the .limewire folder and that didn't change it.

Something larger just for a moment. Some sites force my browser window too large so I have to increase monitor size so it fits into the monitor window & I can quickly drag the corner to reduce its size. Increase the monitor size to say 1280 pxl or 1344 (in system preferences > Display. It will give you 15 secs to decide to keep the monitor size. So quickly drage bottom corner of LW up & to the left. then drag the interface to the right a bit so it's in the middle of the monitor.

Sorry I forgot you're using windows. doh lol But same principle. By increasing the monitor size you will reduce the size of everything in the window. There's also some small arrows you can click to show just one or both sides of the interface. You can also drag the main sections up or down.

Two options: 1. Click on the small arrows on the LW main window. If that doesn't work click it the other arrow. 2. Drag the partition up or sideways; see examples here: Example A (click on link) & also Example B (click on link)

No apply or ok button. Sift thru those links I gave you (I edited them in late) & I think you'll find your answer.

If none of those work then re-install Java using the link I gave above & save the installer to your computer before installing. Don't install over the net. Uninstall the previous version 1st.

No, all the buttons are there. That's the initial screen after I'd deleted .limewire folder so that's why Apply and OK weren't there.
Here's another image:

The text itself is just not lined up with the textboxes.
I looked through all the links and have found nothing to fix this, but I will download java again.
I'm using 1.5.0.02, i think that's the latest but even if it is i'll download it again. I'll post back when i've done that. Thanks.
