download problem, help plzzzzzz!
 

Hi, I was hoping someone might know...

Everytime a download starts it begins at something like 60 kbps from 8 users. About 20-30 seconds later it still says downloading from 8 users, but the transfer speed drops to 0. I have no firewall and but I do have the latest version of norton antivirus, any idea whats wrong or how to fix it (all the options are set to default)?

If you have people uplding from you then you'll get better results.

Hints: After opening LW wait 10 to 20 mins before using. Let it settle down 1st. A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities.
