System tray menu hidden by taskbar Is there any way to ensure the little pop-up menu from the system tray Limewire icon displays over top of the taskbar? I do not wish to force the taskbar to 'AutoHide' nor remove the 'Always on Top' setting. Currently when I left-click on the Limewire tray icon, the menu pops up. Unfortunately the menu choice for 'Restore Limewire' is at the bottom of the menu. Because of the choice being so low, it is hidden behind the Windows taskbar. So... once I place Limewire in the system tray, I cannot restore the window. For now I am not allowing Limewire to minimize to the tray. Windows2000; Limewire 1.7 & 1.6 are affected. I can see 'Hide Menu', 'About Limewire', and 'Exit Limewire'. Please let me know if there is a setting I can change to fix this problem. Thank you |
I've encountered the same problem, although I can see all of the menu items. More specifically, I can't restore LimeWire from a tray icon by double-clicking it...only selecting Restore LimeWire from the context menu seems to work. I noticed this problem starting with 1.6d (running under Win2000). Regards, GZ |
same problem... I run win2k with my taskbar double high which = approx 50 pixels this problem could be enabling double clicking again in version 1.7b |
