Even i get the same problem !

Even i get the same problem, Task manager shows Lime wire using very little CPU, but when i got to performance tab, full processor is being used. When this happens i just format the whole partition and reinstall windows. I have been searching for a solution for long, but no use. When i stop Lime wire, every thing becomes normal. Most probably its a limewire bug. Some times Limewire just keeps accessing the Hard disk for no reason.

If at any time your coumpter is doing intensive-cpu calculations run a nortion anti-virus program or ad ware it worked for me. Becasue you are probaly infected with a worm or viruse......... given u have done the stuff listed on PAGE 1

Ok its not Limewire which slows down the system. Download ProcessExplorer and see which process is taking the CPU. Task manager does not show some processes which are using CPU. Actually, my HDD was on PIO mode and was causing Lots of interrupts to the CPU.
