![]() I recently have had problems with the installation- my limewire would not start at all, i'd double click it, and nothing would happen- i fixed that. Now it works, but it works really slowly. Should i install another java, different from the one that limewire 4.8.1 installs during installation? What should i do? details---- During my installation problems, i downloaded the latest java from "netbeans" or something like that. It did nothing to help me. So, i deleted it and the java that limewire installed for me, and then reinstalled limewire, including the java it comes with. questions--- Should i reinstall that java that i had before to enhance performance speed? |

![]() For some odd reason one version of Java will behave better on some people's systems than others. You could try stepping back to the previous version or 1.4.2 A couple of other things you could try are try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! Get some energy bars to give LW some more energy on those long runs. Get it fit. lol (Joke!) |
