Won't Open
 

When I try to open LimeWire, nothing happens. Not even the loading screen appears. I tried re-installing java and limewire, but it seems that nothing works. What can I do?:confused:

If you've used LW before, then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

If not, then uninstall Java using the Add/Remove programs control panel. Then downld Java & save it to your computer (don't install it over the net!!!) Then install it.

A late thought ... perhaps your LW shortcuts don't work. Go directly to the program folder & try opening LW directly. If it works then recreate the shortcuts.
