Behind a wireless router

I got a message regarding being behind a router and should configure LimeWire for it. Can someone help me with this? I am using WindowsXP and a wireless SMC router.

1. Configuer your firewall to allow LW full access: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

2. How to forward a port on your modem/router depends on brand & model. For a guide you can check here: http://portforward.com/routers.htm
I don't know what an SMC router is. lol

3. IF you need to manually forward a port on your modem-router (remember you MUST have a Static ip for that to work!), then within LW do this: Manual port forward instructions & sample image & 2 posts after that.

Hope this helps! ;) :)
