Within the past month or so, Limewire has slowed way down, even to the point that I am thinking about looking for another filesharing program. When I first downloaded the program, it worked perfect and better than any before. When I click to download a song or preview a song already downloading, the whole program freezes up and it takes at least half a minute to do anything, but sometimes it doesnm't ever recover. I know its not my connection; I have ethernet and have no problem with any other pragram. Please help me before I cancel my Limewire.

It must be your computer: I don't mean to scare you but check for adware, spyware, viruses, anything...
If you find nothing, then (fully) uninstall LW, dld it from the site (www.limewire.com) and reinstall it.
