93% CPU Usage
 

Hi, i just recently downloaded limewire basic as it was recommended to me by my friends.... but i would like to know why is it when i run the program it takes up around 90% + of my CPU usage...

At first i thought it was because of the Ultrapeer options and the amount of networks im connected to but i've turned them off and i am not connected to any network.. it is the program itself that is stressing out my CPU..

i have an p4 3.4Ghz LGA 775 socket.. i would like to know why this is happening.. does anyone have a solution?

im sharing 0 files... cos i tried it out and took out all my share folders to see if it may have been the problem.. also i have iTunes installed.. would that have a connection to the problem ?

100% CPU usage
 

all of a sudden my limewire has jacked my CPU usage up to 100% and its only when i run lime wire i have this problem when i say run i mean the program is running no downloads uploads searching file sharing is going on its just maintaining a 100% CPU usage and i getting kind of tcked off because im afraid i might have to do a O/S blow out just to get limewire to stop being a little girlie man program.... if any one knows how to solve this problem please any help is great

Yes it uses an enormous amount of CPU and dowloads are terribly slow. Downloading OceanTwelve took five days and wasn´t even that movie but another uninteresting one. Music takes hours to more than a day. Maximum download speed never more than 8 kbps.
And when you ask for a certain movietitle it is all porno that´s in the list.
It says to be faster than kazaa but it is not true, it is about ten times slower.
Unlucky I thought that Pro would be better but that is not true, so don´t spend 18 dollars for nothing.
