Problems with Limewire
 

Ok when i run limwire Basic 4.8.1 on Windows Xp with Service pack 2 and have the spyware, and viruses, infestations taken careoff installed, unblocked the java.exe's, limewire cant i get the limewire to run right my firewall is Zonealarms Basic. But it is unblocked and able to use the net when shut off still same problem disable my anti-virus protection Norton and McAffee and still no load?
Then i use cerulean Studios (Trillian 3 Basic) And then the problem goes away and limewire runs PERFECT

It's only wise to have one firewall active. When more than one firewall is active they can interfere with each other. So ... decide which one you want to use & disable the others. Disable XP firewall for a start. I don't know about cerulean Studios (Trillian 3 Basic) firewall but make sure you have made exemption for Limewire & java. Just to double-check; Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then there's still something at least partially blocking LW.

ok now everyone that has WINDOWS XP and Service Pack2 unless they messwith windows has a firewall by default and if they add another they should disable the xp one cause it is a peice of junk and cerulean studios (trillian 3 Basic) is a messenger that supports AIM,MSN,Yahoo,ICQ,and IRQ with Audio support what i wana know is why does LimeWire run better when this program is runnig on intel machines? I have not tested this on AMD Machines
