![]() PROBLEM: the limewire virus corrupted my system so badly that it hangs / freezes every minute and it destroyed my firewall as well. volume control is disabled and internet access is forbidden..limewire keeps popping up and advertistments are getting on my nerves. SOLUTION: My advice would be to uninstall limewire completely and delete any files with associations to limewire, then download trial files of ewido anti-spyware or etrust antivirus program and do a complete system scan. delete any files that are infected. i did that and i went to http://www.norbiesworld.co.uk and now everything's fixed! it feels so nice to see all the firewalls, updates and virus protection turned on at your security centre (: if you're experiencing the same problem, sign up at norbiesworld and go to "free computer help" =D REFERENCE: http://www.norbiesworld.co.uk/Forums...326.html#18326 this is where i posted my help message, feel free to view as reference!! =) |
