 No need to go to Safe mode, or uninstall Limewire.I have done it dozens of times and works perfect without that  |

 Also, another peice of advice for the people that went through this to make sure all the EXE files that were put on your system are gone! go to start menu than run type in the word "complete" and than it will bring up all the EXE folder files that were installed from limewire's virus. click select all and delete Than delete them from the recycling bin |
