non-responsive. Nothing happens.

Hey, I've downloaded, reinstalled and redownloaded limewire a few times now and from my experience it's been the best I've used so far. I try to load the program but nothing happens whatsoever. If you have a solution please help!

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire (click on link) If this doesn't work then see below.

2. Try changing the compatibility of LW to windows 2k; instructions on point 4 above link.

3. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Java. If that doesn't work either then depending on which version of Java you have, it might be worth swapping versions. If you have Java 1.5 then uninstall it using the Add/Remove control panel & then install Java1.4.2 Or if you have 1.4.2 then update to 1.5 (Links for Java can be found in the link above.) Also, don't install Java over the net, downld the installer & save it to your computer 1st & then install it.
