Limewire operation using Dial-up 56k

I will have DSL soon. I'd like to try limewire now. Something tells me it may not be worth signing up with dial-up. Any feedback would be fine.

worth it

I use dialup sometimes and it is slow, true, but definately worth it. Limewire is free so try it out until you get your dsl...

have fun

Just use the basic version until you get DSL. Then get Pro if you intended to in the first place. I used LW with dial-up for about 2 years. It works, but it's hardly worth it in my mind. Good luck.

I use Limewire basic at home with my 56k dial-up connection - it works but it's slow and it's very hard to share your files (upload) while downloading files.
