downloads won't open in windows

I download a lot of games files that will not open or setup after I download. These include files called inno setup. What program will open this?

more specifics

By the way....I have windows xp. I download from dialup or wireless whichever is working at the time. I know the normal procedure for opening and installing a file (double click) but these inno setup files just won't open at all whether I double click or right click/open. I am assuming there must be a special program that will open these files.
Thanks

I also have the same problem, I downloaded a few games but do not have the necessary program to open then , I think :)

Please help me and this other person, we will both be very grateful

Most such files are zipped or rar. So you'd need winzip, winrar or stuffit expander to uncompress them. Then run the exe installer. But do a virus scan before you touch them ... even before uncompressing them.
