no search results I've tried searching for a lot of various songs and songtitles and have not come up with one result. I figured maybe they might be bit obscure so I just typed in "Green Day" or "Sinatra" for the hell of it and still nothing. I just recently downloaded the program...is it something I'm doing wrong? |
Same problem I have the same problem, only with me, the search window portion does nnot even come up at start up and it never does. |
i'm having the same problem... why is no one helping us?!?!?! |
nycshoegal I have a horrible suspicion (I hope this is not so!) that your isp provider (Cox) is responsible for your problems. See ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then you have a firewall issue or something similar. Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link) Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? petesolis try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire |
