Limewire won't even start up
 

I install it, double-click and nothing happens. What's wrong here?

LimeWire wont shut down it always starts on its own and interferes with my other programs

Remove LimeWire my friends suggest and try another program.

I have never had a problem with Limewire until just the other day, but mine won't shut down either.

Okay I Fixed my Limewire On My Windows XP. For the past 6 Days, Every time I tried to open LW, Nothing would happen. I went to Add/Remove programs and deleted Java and all of the updates. I went to the Sun website and Downloaded the SE version 6 offline installer. I saved the program to my documents, double clicked on the Java Icon and installed version 6 without any updates. The LW Icon on my desktop worked when I clicked on it, but an error message popped up saying an error ocurred and to download LimeWire again. I popped in my LimeWire Pro disk and Downloaded it again. I had to go through the setup process again, but I just did a quick search on my hard drive to get all my files back into the LimeWire library. I hope you didn't get as frustrated as I did, and I hope maybe this was helpful. If you need better instructions as to how I did this, Private message me and I will give you a better description of what I did to resolve the issue.
