Hey all, problem after installation.
 

Hey, i installed limewire 4.8.1 but after i installed i tried clicking on my desktop link, but the program didn't start. a friend told me it takes a while to load, but it's not that, it just didn't start!
I tried clicking on the link from the folder itself, but no go...
when i click nothing happens, no splash screen, no window, no nothing. as if i didn't click anything at all.

help?
(i have WinXP pro)

Go to the LW program folder & see if it opens directly. If yes then delete & recreate your shortcuts. If not, then see below.

Try changing LW to win 2k compatibility; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire (point 4)

Reinstall Java (see above link) If Java 1.5 doesn't work then uninstall it & try Java 1.4.2 ;) :)
