doesn't show window

how come when I start up limewire the window does not show up. Everything is fine no errors, just the limewire window doesn't show up.

You may have had it set to close to tray. Click LW in the tray. If that doesn't solve it, try one or more of the following suggestions: Fixes for Limewire
