Hello all, I've been searching the forums for an answer and I still am, but I have noticed something. When I download a song and open it into windows media player, it always worked. Recently, I have been trying to make a cd of songs, but this time none of the songs would work in windows media player (whether playing them from the cd or off my hard drive). FINALLY I figured it out and hopefully someone here can help me before I have to go and re-download the songs. What I did was I went into the description - while in limewire - of the song and changed it to make it appear a bit more professional. However, in the process it changes the size of the file and something about the song file makes it incompatable with WMP. Can anyone help me with this problem...or is this a lost cause?

i think it may be a problem i've been having. try adding songs in queue and then opening that one song. If it goes red and doesn't work double click it in your playlist and a message will pop up stating why its not working. it might say something about "having to access another computer" and thats why it doesn't work. if this is the case, simply remove the song from the folder its downloaded to and move it somewhere else. try it again and it should work. although this could be completely unrelated to your problem so i hope i helped.
