Help!!! My Limewire won't let me download songs!!

Whenever I start up my Limewire it says there is no Firewall detected, I have a Windows XP and there is one built in. When I select songs to download they wont start I just end up clicking a million times to no result. I updated to LW 9.1 a few days ago and its been screwey since. LW 8.1 workied perfectly for me and I never had problems. Should I go back to 8.1? What should I do??

I fixed it, thank god!! My configuartion was set to be blocked by my firewall so i Manually overrided it or something like that!!! The main thing is its fixed
