Chat with host button does not light
 

New to lime wire. I right click the chat. The host replies "Helliolio". My chat with host button will not light (enable). What do I need to do?

Also, I have a DSL connection. Does an average of 28 Kbytes/sec. sound about right for downloads? I did get a few files from an ethernet connection night before last that came in at about 160 to 180. The quality stars came in blue instead of yellow.

How to Direct Connect, Browse & Chat

What is it you want to do? If the chat window is open all you do is click into the chat area & type & then press send message.

If you righ-click the host & chat is shaded out it means they can't have a chat sent to them for whatever reasons such as not having chat enabled or too busy to receive or their p2p program version doesn't support chat.
