loading limewire

hello i just purchased lime wire 4.9.1. After dbl clicking the icon and watching the lime wire logo... i recieve an error:

The error says that lime wire could not be initialized and start. Usually due to a fire wall or internet loop back some thing or other... None the less. I have disabled the "windows xp pro" fire wall and see that lime wire is in the exception lists. But I still recieve this error. I've tried starting it with my anti virus and spy ware... ie" bitdefender/ spyware programs.. but again, I still get this error.. What else should I try?

I am connected to the internet through a cable modem.
Thanks swann

Do you have Java installed on your computer? You might want to check that out. If not, download it.
