Limewire Troubles
 
hi i have a majot problem with lime wire and it sint just the latest version its been every version i can remember. the trouble is 1 the font is blurry not crips and clear. and if i try and run a media player while lime wire is loaded my screen goes crazy and i see weird gjhost images and have to boot down. this has been every lime wire i ever tried. i believe its a java problem but ive tried reinstalling java . has any one seen this same thing?

I doubt it is a java issue probably a graphics issue have you updated your drivers. A little more information would be helpful.

What firewall you use if any
What Antivirus if any
Are you new to LimeWire or Experienced
An accurate description of your problem

yes the antialias was set high and that made the blurry text.. but what about the fact i cant run windows media player while lime wire is loaded.

At this point in time I have no idea it might be a memory issue your graphics card could be going bad you said you have a nvidia 6800 does it have any memory included have you ever overclocked it. You really haven't provided much information to go on so it is all just a guess. There is a reason we ask for information without the proper information it is all just a guess. Sometimes even with the proper Info it can't be figured out.

nah the card is fine. it runs benchmark loops for ever and games for hours so the memory is fine. at this point im not sure what it is. i was hoping not to guess about it and find some onbe who aleady had the same issue.

Sorry I couldnt help I am running 6200 and I have not seen the problem you are seing on mine. If you figure it out let us know
