I just downloaded the 4.9.28 basic version of lime wire to my HP pavilion 7940. Everytime I try to download I receive a message "Limewire is unable to find a license for this file. Download anyway?" I have a confirmation page that I paid almost $40.00 for a lifetime full & unlimited access version 4.8.1 on August 28, 2005. How do I get the license from my 4.8.1 version to transfer to the new one? Was I supposed to download the Pro version? F Y I: I am using Windows ME (crap!) :confused:

2ndly, downlding copyright material is not legal depending upon your country's laws, etc. The copyright question is simply to put the onus upon you to decide whether you want to take the risk. If you saw a web site that claimed free unlimited downlds of movies, music & games then that is a scamsite.
