Default LimeWire problems with x64 chip?

I run an AMD Athlon 64 processor. Since I started using this computer I have not been able to successfully run LimeWire. On ym old PC with a regular 32-bit Athlon XP, it ran fine. Also runs fine on my P4 and Celeron computers. I have built 2 64-bit machines for friends and it no longer runs on their computers. Is there a fix for this? Or am I just majorly missing something thats going to make me feel retarded?

Either way, even if it makes me feel dumb for missing something, please help!

Heh, I just downloaded the newest version and now its running fine. My system specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 4000+
Radeon X850XTPE PCI-E
2gb GeIL PC3200
Asus A8V-E

For the longest time it wouldnt go past the splash screen. Once I downloaded the newest version (earlier today) it is running fine. Thanks anyway for tryin to help me.
