starting back up

right i exit limewire but it just starts it self back up again and im very confused ive tryed every thing i know but nothing seems to work and it slows every thing im on down can anyone help me out here please

I have this same problem. I close LimeWire and it just starts itself back up again randomly. And I have tried reinstalling the program. Can anyone help us?

There is a virus that sometimes causes this. Check out this link and the embeded links in Lord of the Ring's post and please let us know if it helps. You can also use the very effective search feature (above right) to look for posts in this vein.
