windows file being shared

i made a mistake and added my windows files to my shared files. NOT GOOD. how do i unshare them without erasing them from my harddrive. now i'm sharing some 1300+ files that i shouldn't be. i'm afraid i might erase my windows if i don't ask for help.

Try:

Tools
Options
Sharing

Type in the directory you really want to use

Close the program
Rerun the program

Verify you are only sharing what you want to

Alternatively,

Stop LimeWire
Go into the directory where you installed LimeWire, look for a file called: limewire.props

Open this in NotePad and look for this line:
DIRECTORIES_TO_SEARCH_FOR_FILES=C\:<your_directory _here>

...and edit it to the directory of your choice.
make sure word-wrap is turned off before you save
Restart LimeWire and verify that it is sharing as you wish
