limewire window doesnt show
 

I'm new to the forums and need some serious help. I'm not really new to limewire...been using it for a few months but two days ago it tripped out and hasnt been right since. When I try opening it the loading stuff comes up and the other box asking to upgrade to pro and it appears down by the task bar but the actual limewire window doesnt show up.

I tried opening from the start menu instead of using the task bar button thing (as u can tell I'm not very keen bout computers) but that didnt work so I uninstalled it and installed again but it still doing the same thing.

I dont know what happen to cause it to trip...last thing I downloaded was a cartoon and I wasnt at the computer while it was downloading. All I know is when I got back the limewire window wasnt there anymore, the cartoon was in the folder and was showing fine but limewire hasnt worked right since.

I hope someone can pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me...I feel soooooooooo handicapped knowing I cant search for music anymore :( :(

You might cure this by deleting Limewires Preference folder. You will of course loose all your settings, and share details and you must do this with Limewire FULLY closed

I'm assuming you have done a thorough virus scan.
