Limewire bug?

I've just upgraded to Limewire Pro 4.9.29. I've noticed what appears to be a bug. If you choose to download a file which is identical to a file which is already downloading, an error message pops up (as it always has done) but then instantly disappears. Meanwhile, Limewire freezes for up to five minutes until the error message reemerges giving you the option to 'cancel' or whatever. Anyone else noticed this? Is there a patch? Is it a known issue? Thanks in anticipation. db.

There should be an option to Save as ... so you can rename the file so it won't clash with the other file of the same name. BTW you can also change the downld location by righ-clicking the downld & choose Change file location. Your problem does sound buggy though. I wonder if it's a java issue.

Thank you LOTR, attentive as ever. ;) The option to 'save as' is indeed present (momentarily) but disappears pdq. When the error flag reappears up to five minutes later, after a period during which any click on any part of the screen results in an audible 'ping' and no action, I could of course then use that option. I currently use Java 1.4.2 (coz I've had previous issues with earlier Limewire builds and Java 5.0). One thing that I didn't state earlier, is the the error flag is a different design to the one that appeared under similar circumstances in Limewire Pro 4.8.1. It's not disasterous, just a berluddy pain at the moment. Thanks again, but it would be interesting to hear whether any other user of this latest build has had a similar problem?
