 Preserving incomplete files I’m going to zero my HD soon and wanted to know if there is any way to preserve my incomplete DL’ed files so I can use them again when I reinstall Limewire?  |

| You can try, .... you would have to recreate an exact copy of your incomplete folder in the same place (with the same path), and reconfigure Limewire to find it again, although I suppose you could put them some where else under the circumstances. HOWEVER.... there is absolutely no guarantee that they will restart. There is a good chance you will have to restart the downloads.

| Backup your entire incomplete folder which also has your incomplete preferences within called downld.dat & bak so after you reinstall, close LW, then replace the incomplete folder with the one you backed up!
