How can I fix this video card problem?

Ok, so I installed a video card into my computer. Then when I tried to open limewire the screen would be blank. It wouldn't freeze or anything, it was just blank. Now before you go and say there is a thread about it, yeah i know. I've read it. I didn't realize that it was my video card until I did. I have an Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 oc and the one that was on that tread was some other kind. I went and started messing with is and found out that limewire will not work right unless my resolution is higher than 1024 by 768. Then, after I change the resolution, I can close limewire completely and start it again and it will be blank. I change my resolution again to something higher or lower, but not lower than 1024 by 768, and it will open and work right until I close it and try to open the program again. Can anybody help me here? I can use Limewire, but it is just getting to be to much of a hassle to open it. Help!

I found the problem. When I would turn AA and AF off they would come back on. Then I saw this auto AA and AF and unchecked it and it works fine now.
