My C:\WINDOWS program files gaining Gigabytes

Hello-I`m not sure why but my C:\WINDOWS program files are gaining GIG`s like crazy.I have recently had installed a larger (10 gig plus second hd.with 6 gigs)hard drive on my old pII-333mhz ,66mhz bus ,196 megs ram win 98 operating system.I have noticed that LimeWires default file for new downloads is to a folder called shared in C:\WINDOWS .The C:\WINDOWS\shared folder only contains 1.4 gigs-71 files but the entire C:\Windows folder now contains 4.3 gigs -33,489 files in 564 folders(was 2.1 gigs just last week?)I have been downloading some files from LimeWire ( I have 267 files shared to date) mostly music mp3`s I believe, but not over 2 gigs in the last week? I can`t figure out what is hogging all this space.I am a novice-can someone please help me understand this problem.I have defragged ect. many times but no real change.I only have 2.6 gigs left on my 10 gig HD. and have not installed any more programs than I started with. All buggered up-maxiunpasse-Thank-You.

Virus Infection

Maxiunpasse

It seems that your PC has become infected with a virus, you should run an online scanner to see if you can get rid of it and delete the virus created files. Then get yourself an AV and firewall app to keep your machine clean.
