Please Help Me

I am new to Limewire, Whenever I run the program, it does something to my system that doesn't allow me to shut down Windows XP Home Edition properly. I get to "shutting down windows" or "Saving" and then nothing happens. The only way I can shut down my computer is to press the On/Off button.

Please if anyone could help me, i would appreciate it.

WinXP will not shut down

I used to get exactly the same problem after an LW session, the solution is quite simple.

I have found that windows, as a species, gets itself tied up in knots after moderate to heavy use, I presume LW taxes windows to the max. So I use Norton Windoctor, part of Norton System Works (2004) to sort this "knotting" problem out, i.e. I run Windoctor after each LW session or heavy windows usage, and I have found that windows then closes down properly.
