m3u files to mp3
 

Howdy. I'm FNG so please bare with...
My limewire downloaded audio files are stored as M3U files and I am having difficulty figuring out how to save them as mp3's so my portable device can upload some tunes. I'm using windows XP Home edition.
When saving files, the only option is to save as m3u. Any help appreciated, I'll buy the beer,

m3u files are the playlist files you create thru the playlist player. They don't contain actual music but are just documents with pointers to where your music is. Your music is in your downld folder. Easy & quick access: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) :)
BTW the default location of your downld folder is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
