Removeing Old Files Of Limewire
 

I as well am haveing no luck deleating these files I have searched the forms found thread how to deleat files and when I do the serarch on limewire I find that do to the fact I have tried to install LW A few times I have even more files and when I click on deleat are you sure you want to sent it to the recycle bin click yes it comes back with there are other people useing can not delete and that,s as far as I can go sorry my O/S win xp the install is today.Thanks for your time If I can get this up and running I will upgrade two Pro.

Whilst this thread is talking about deleting other types of files it may still help. Give it a try.:)

Thanks for your info but just to share this what I did was restore my pc O/S X_P PRO I did not install this program but what I found it wae running in the system tray I was not able to deleat the file in any way I am up and running now.I would like how to do it thought.Thanks all hope this helps some one cheers

THANKS FOR THE HELP JUST HAVE TO CHANGE MEDIA PLAYER ANY IDEAS TILL THEN READ READ AND READ SOME MORE.I HAVE ONE MORE Q,IF I DOWNLOAD LIMEWIRE PRO FROM THE FILES WILL IT RUN YES,NO I WANT PRO OR SHOULD I BUY IT ON LINE IF SO HOW DO I KNOW IM TALKING TO LIMEWIRE FOR SURE I HAVE READ A LOT OF RIP OFFS HAPPEN THIS WAY THANKS FOR READING THIS.

Hi all clicked player changed player default settings now I can here my tunes with windows media player but can not launch any movies for play-back help me im all most bald now.

See Setting Default video app & it sounds like you might not have the correct codec so get GSpot to tell you which codec you need for the particular file. Another alternative is to get VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) as it has in-built codecs & is very reliable for playback. See CODECs list and alternate players for Movies (This link could be found in the Stickies at the top of this forum section.)

if when you try to delete a file this message appears, simply go into 'safe mode' to delete it.

F8 when computer is booting up.
