 lime wire messed up my computer, HELP!!! a few months ago i had the LW standard edition on my PC. after a month of using it, it generated alot of ad/spyware, and then i got a virus. if i were to get lime wire pro would my PC be protected from this??  |

| No. It is vital that you have spy ware and virus protection on any computer connected to the internet. It is also vital. need I say, to use it and act on it immediately! Just to get it straight, provided you are using a genuine copy of Limewire from www.limewire.com ... Basic or Pro, it does NOT contain spyware or adware. Bogus versions of Limewire may contain these things, as can many files you may download using Limewire, or indeed your browser. ... Be vigilant
