I can download the music and the DVD's to my computer. When I try to copy them to a disc, either a CD-r or a DVD-r, I can only play them on the computer not in my player or on my recorder. I can copy other CD's and DVD's and they play fine. Only when I use Limewire do I have this problem. What can I do??

Possibly you are burning m3u files which will not work as they are only playlist files and not mp3s which you should be burning. This thread describes what you should do for audio files. [EDIT It's just been updated and looks like an EXCELLENT job]

Videos get a bit more complicated as the type and make of Disc you use can be important. Ask if you need more help but try burning audio first.
