Freezing at Loading User Interface

I've installed/removed this program a dozen times now and when I launch it after the installation it keeps freezing at the Loading User Interface stage.

I've done a norton scan - no viruses.
I've disabled my firewall - still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Uninstall Java, then reinstall it using the "Offline" Java installer, ie: downld the installer to your computer, don't install over the net. See this link & follow steps 1-3 Fixes for Limewire

Rather than turn your firewall off, configure it. Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

If you have a dsl/adsl/cable or satellite modem or router, make sure UPnP (Universal Plug & Play) is enabled.

wow.. how gay is this? maybe the people who updated limewire should be helping out with possibilites of why it "ALL OF A SUDDEN" doesn't work. I've never had a problem with it until now.. except when my g-card setting interfered with it. Which that isn't the problem right now. Kind of blows when limewire just stops working. Won't load.. i've followed every instruction on how to fix it, re-installed the java 1.4 JRE full package twice. Deleted everything to do with limewire, re-installed about 6 times... no results. Enabled that Universal Plug and Play thing.. still nothing. This is retarded.. yes whoever updated limewire messed up badly.. gg

I've done all of the above without any further success.

Any other ideas?

Well how gay is this I do not know for sure which version you updated to but I will bet it is 4.10 and that version requires Java 1.5 get it at the link below. And by the way un install all those other gay versions of Java. When you finish re install LimeWire.

By the way it was you that messed up.
