New Member? I think i was scammed!!
 

I used to download from winmx.com, and they are no longer available, but what I thought was a new way to download ended up being a scam!! I was told I could get unlimited lifetime subscription to winmx for 24.95, the screen even said winmx.com but when I paid and installed the software it was LimeWire and a box popped up and said if you paid for this you were scammed!! Its true , I was. :mad: To say the least!! I cant believe they are allowed to get away with this, it should be illegal!! I just did this last night, so I already contacted my bank to dispute and report as fraud. Does anyone know what else people like me can do to get these companies!!? They should pay for what they do it is false advertisement and then some!! Their web site is mp3musichq.com. I cant even talk to anyone , just send emails which are not returned.

I strongly suggest you cancel that trasnaction ASAP & make sure that is of your cc card. And keep a watchful eye on your statements to make sure no funny charages appear. you can only get limewire at the official site. the scam sites do that to con you not only out of your money but to get your cc info and use it.
